June has been such a gift, a pause in my treatment that I gave myself as self-care. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying every bit of it: walks, hikes, brunches, cooking, time in nature, gardening, and precious time with the people I love most. I’ve also added ice cream therapy to my treatment plan, highly recommended! 🍦

Next week, I’ll be starting radiotherapy, Monday through Friday until August 21st. I’m all set with four alignment markers (temporary tattoos of large X’s on my chest that help position me precisely on the radiation machine, thankfully not the permanent kind!).
